Davide Scotto (PhD, Florence 2012) works as a research fellow at the Historical Seminar of the Goethe University in Frankfurt. He specialises in the study of Christian interactions with Judaism and Islam in premodern Europe and the Mediterranean. Over the last five years, he has worked as a research fellow and lecturer at the Center for Islamic Theology, University of Tübingen, and in the Department of History at the University of Basel. He participated in the ERC Advanced Grant Project CORPI, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Madrid and has been a visiting scholar at UNED and CSIC, Madrid, and a visiting lecturer at the Department for the Study of Religions, Masaryk University, Brno. Since 2010, Davide has been an editorial assistant for the Rivista di Storia e Letteratura Religiosa (Leo S. Olschki), and in 2018, cofounded the Centro di Studi Interreligiosi (CSI), Collegio Borromeo, Pavia
