Kentaro Inagaki obtained his master’s degree in Area Studies (The University of Tokyo). His PhD dissertation will focus on Levinus Warner’s manuscript notebooks and treatises on customs of the pre-Islamic Arabs and shed a new light on the way he read and interpreted the Qur’an and Hadith.
